You might have heard through the grapevine already, but now it's official - our long time friend has finally been jumped into the Gang.
Lou says: "Bertrand is a super good guy and a natural ambassador. He is the last guy you will see jump into a bar fight but if he ever did, you better be close to the door. I'm so happy this guy is with us also because now in our meetings it's going to be twice as funny."

Bertrand says: "It feels good and right for me to be a part of this amazing adventure. From the beginning, Lou has always been the guy I looked up too because from my point of view he is the reason kiting is what it is today. He was always the one trying to push the sport further and in the right direction with new tricks and his unique style on the water. So for me it is an honor to ride for his brand."

"With some sick kites and surfboards from Wainman Hawaii I am now looking forward for a year with some exiting traveling in search for some epic wave riding!"
"Right now I am in Hawaii with the whole Wainman crew, the wind is finally back here and we are riding and testing the gear everyday. It all looks good! It is amazing how good the gear works and I am sure it will help to improve my riding."

Born in the north of France - Brittany is where Bertrand's love for the ocean began. He started windsurfing at an early age and later discovered kitesurfing, it eventually took up all of his time on the water.
In 2001 Bertrand's professional career began when he moved to Maui, Hawaii which was the home to many of the worlds best kitesurfers. Here is where he found his powered wake and wave riding "signature style."
Bertrand has traveled extensively in search of the perfect kiting conditions, many of these destinations has increased his love for wave riding. His dream is to find somewhere where the wave riding is perfect so that he can, unpack his suitcase and ride every day.
Bertrand is passionate and professional when it comes to kitesurfing and his way of life.

Last thought from Lou...
"I like the French guys' intelligence, they know how to listen, wait till the end, and in a short sentence tell you that you're full of shit and why, meanwhile making total sense, leaving you with a smile and saying merci, with a sorry attempt at a french accent furthermore making you look like a douch bag."
